Attorney, Environment, Land & Resources

(New York, NY) Represent public & priv. co’s & financial
inst. in conn. w/ environmental transactional, compliance, regulatory matters,
incl. wrt M&A, financings, securities filings, stakeholder engagement,
publ. disclosures. Advise clients wrt potential Superfund liabs. & oblig. Negotiate
& prepare environmental & health-and-safety-related provisions of
primary transact. doc., incl. purchase agr’s, credit agr’s, indentures,
offering memoranda, SEC forms. Review & advise on environment-related
policies & repts., incl. sustainability & ESG. Represent PRPs in conn.
w/ Superfund liability, investigations, cleanup, allocation processes, incl. negot.
consent decrees, SOWs, settlements; preparing responses to 104(e) info
requests; preparing pertinent court filings. Liaise w/ counsel in other JDs re:
local env. compliance, incl. obtaining & maintaining necessary env.
permits. Oversee env.-related aspects of due dilig. processes. $260,000 per
year. Req’mts: JD or foreign equiv. or Canadian JD, NY Bar, 2 yrs of exp. in
position or 2 yrs. of alternate occupational exp. performing complex corporate
