POSITION: Brooklyn Heights Synagogue Education Programs Administrator (2023)

BHS, a dynamic, inclusive, Reform Jewish Community seeks a full-time in-person
(Monday-Friday) Education Programs Administrator beginning January 2023. BHS prides itself

to Brooklyn Heights Synagogue is easy via most subway lines in the heart of Downtown
Brooklyn.

  • ●  What: Full time (40 hours/week) in-person Education Programs Administrator
  • ●  Where: Brooklyn Heights Synagogue
  • ●  When: Beginning January 2023, Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm in-person and will include

    presence at 2 Friday night evening services/month and the occasional Saturday morning

    B’nai mitzvah service

  • ●  Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, ability to work in a team environment, high attention
    to detail, excellent writing skills and organizational skills, computer literate and
    comfortable with Google Docs, Excel and learning new database systems.

    Job Expectations:

    Your responsibilities will include supporting the following programs: daily operation of the
    Religious School, including billing and membership database; communications and publications
    for the Adult Education and Lifelong Learning Programs and The Other Friday Night Young
    Adults Program; general administrative support, including occasional Synagogue administrative
    coverage.
