This is an opportunity to join the Treasury Technology team at Amazon in an exciting period of growth. We are looking for a program manager with experience engaging directly with banks on business expansion and implementation initiatives to support us in the implementation of a brand new Treasury Workstation.

Amazon uses both Kyriba and Quantum, global leaders in Treasury management software (TMS). Our team of Treasury analysts rely on these systems for a number of critical services. As a bank onboarding PM you will be responsible for directly engaging with our banking partners to onboard new banks to the TMS, including managing detailed project plans for execution, managing contractual changes, overseeing testing and working to resolve issues. You will also be responsible for building a long term successful engagement model with our banking partners, including proactively identifying and establishing projects to improve reliability of bank reporting.

You will work with our team of application analysts, and Treasury operations to identify and escalate issues for resolution, as well as to determine opportunities to enhance our process. You will be responsible for tracking and working to improve metrics for bank reporting and project engagement.

In addition to the implementation of a new TMS, you will be engaged on a number of other business development projects such as SWIFT integration and upgrades, electronic bank account management (eBAM) system development and more. A successful candidate will have experience working directly with banks on a range of projects. You will demonstrate high levels of ownership and will be constantly innovating. You will be adept at working cross-functionally both within and outside your organization, with the ability to influence others and drive consensus.

Key responsibilities:

Establishing a solid engagement model with the banks in your portfolio

Onboarding new banks to the TMS, including managing detailed project workstreams

Contract management with banks for connectivity requirements

Status updates for your workstreams

Running a number of process improvement projects in conjunction with internal and external teams

Creation of reporting packs for senior leadership

Prioritization of initiatives and input into roadmap development

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field

Relevant project management accreditation e.g. PMP, Prince 2.

Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Proven capability working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while dealing with high levels of ambiguity

Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
